Kirsten Irving is an established voice actor and poet, and a stalwart of the London poetry scene, co-running Sidekick Books: ‘a collaborative, interactive poetry press, run by an ex-communicated alchemist and his two minions’. Her sharp take on the modern world is often twisted together with computer-game robots and silent monsters in the dark.
Her first collection, Never Never Never Come Back is a ‘deep dive through cartoons, combat, desperation and debris’ and has been described as ‘Lean, needle-sharp, questing, intelligent and tuned to human vulnerability’.
