Culture Recordings are really excited to announce that we are about to begin working with London-based singer songwriter and guitar virtuoso Josh Geffin.

Josh’s inventive fingerstyle guitar playing melds the pastoral beauty of folk perennials Nick Drake, John Martyn and Bert Jansch with the songwriting sensibilities of American contemporaries such as The Barr Brothers, Joan Shelley and Son of Town Hall.
He has self-released four records to date including two of original songs, an EP of traditional folk songs and his latest, the meditative instrumental album Hum & Glow (mixed by Grammy-nominated Sonny Johns).
Recording began at the end of February and an E.P. of new songs conjuring a bucolic landscape inhabited by effortless instrumentation and fragile melodies is planned for release later in the spring.
